Every piece is inspected and documented on arrival, and a method is chosen for its fibre: liquid CO₂ for the structured and the delicate, wet cleaning with biodegradable detergents for silk, cashmere and fine knitwear

Liquid CO₂ cleans at low temperature without water or harsh solvent. Canvas and padding stay as the tailor set them, and the garment is finished without a hard press.
Embellished and evening pieces
Beading, metal thread and lace are inspected and protected before cleaning. Where a piece cannot be cleaned safely by any method, we tell you rather than proceed.
Handbags, shoes and leather
Cleaned, conditioned and repaired by specialists. Collected with the garments, returned when the leather is ready.

Before you book.
Yes. Designer and luxury garments are our specialism, and a supplement applies for each. Every piece is inspected and documented on arrival at the Atelier before a method is chosen, and nothing is cleaned with PERC.
Yes. Give the contact for handover at booking and we collect and return through them. Collection and delivery are free on orders over £30 across SW1X.

Standard turnaround is 48 to 72 hours from collection to delivery. Leather and suede take longer, and large or delicate household pieces such as rugs are quoted individually at booking.
Two. Liquid CO₂ dry cleaning, which works at low temperature and is gentle on fine fibres, and professional wet cleaning with biodegradable detergents. We have never used PERC, the conventional dry cleaning solvent.
