Clothes in Covent Garden lead a double life. They go to work in the day and out in the evening, often without going home in between, and they pick up food, wine, rain and the smoke of a crowded street in one night. Evening fabrics, silk and velvet especially, hold on to all of it.Our Marylebone studio is the nearest, a short walk from Oxford Circus. For WC2 we recommend collection: book a slot, and a specialist takes the whole order, from the velvet jacket to the shirts, to our Atelier where each piece is inspected and cleaned by the method its fibre needs.

Velvet, silk and embellished pieces cannot be washed and are damaged by heat. Liquid CO₂ cleaning removes marks and odour without either, and the pile of a velvet jacket comes back lifted, not crushed.
A wardrobe that smells of the night
Cigarette smoke, a restaurant kitchen, a damp cloakroom. Ozone treatment removes odour and bacteria without solvents or water, for garments that do not need a full clean.
The costume department at home
Performers and stylists keep unusual garments in WC2 flats: feathers, beading, vintage. Each is inspected on arrival and tested before any method is chosen.

Collection slots are booked in the Blanc app, and we serve every WC2 address with a door we can reach. Choose the slot that suits your day, and collection and delivery are free on orders over £30.
With liquid CO₂, which cleans at low temperature and without water. Velvet pile is not flattened and silk keeps its hand. Every piece is inspected first and any embellishment is protected before cleaning.
Marylebone, at 79 George Street, W1U. It is a short bus or tube ride from WC2, and garments can be dropped there directly or collected from your home.
Standard turnaround is 48 to 72 hours from collection to delivery. Leather and suede take longer, and large or delicate household pieces such as rugs are quoted individually at booking.
Two. Liquid CO₂ dry cleaning, which works at low temperature and is gentle on fine fibres, and professional wet cleaning with biodegradable detergents. We have never used PERC, the conventional dry cleaning solvent.
