Mansion-block living means a small wardrobe of good pieces rather than a large one of ordinary ones, and a small good wardrobe is unforgiving of poor cleaning. When there are two coats rather than six, each has to survive many seasons, and it will only do so if it is cleaned by a method that does not shrink, stiffen or shine it.Our Notting Hill studio is the nearest of our four, a short journey south. For W9, book a collection in the Blanc app and hand over at your door or to your porter. Each piece is inspected individually and cleaned with liquid CO₂ or wet cleaning with biodegradable detergents.

Cleaned with liquid CO₂ at low temperature, without water. No shrinkage, no shine, and the shoulders finished as they were cut.
Knitwear for the canal in winter
Cashmere and wool are wet cleaned with biodegradable detergents, reshaped and dried flat so the loft of the fibre is kept.
Linen for the mansion flat
Bed linen, duvets, curtains and table linen, wet cleaned with biodegradable detergents and returned pressed.

Before you book.
Yes. Give the porter’s desk as the handover point at booking and we collect and return through it. Collection and delivery are free on orders over £30 across W9.
By professional wet cleaning with biodegradable detergents at controlled temperature, followed by reshaping and flat drying. It is a gentle professional method for natural fibres.
Notting Hill, at 77 Lonsdale Road, W11 2DF, a short journey south. Garments can be dropped there during opening hours, or collected from your W9 address.
Standard turnaround is 48 to 72 hours from collection to delivery. Leather and suede take longer, and large or delicate household pieces such as rugs are quoted individually at booking.
Two. Liquid CO₂ dry cleaning, which works at low temperature and is gentle on fine fibres, and professional wet cleaning with biodegradable detergents. We have never used PERC, the conventional dry cleaning solvent.
