A vintage garment carries risks that a new one does not. Older dyes are less stable and bleed more readily under heat or agitation. Older fibres — particularly silk and wool — are weaker and more vulnerable to chemical stress. Seams and linings that have held for decades can fail under a cleaning cycle designed for new construction.
BLANC individually assesses dye stability and fibre condition on every vintage piece before selecting a method. If a garment cannot tolerate wet cleaning, it is not wet cleaned. If a dye will run at 30 degrees, the temperature goes lower. The method follows the garment, not the other way around.

- Laundry, wash and fold, and shirt service. Everyday laundry and business shirts, cleaned, pressed, and finished to BLANC standard.
- In-store tailor. Hems, sleeve adjustments, re-lining, structural repairs, and specialist alterations for vintage and occasion wear. Walk-in consultations and fittings available.
- Designer, vintage, and occasion wear. Individual assessment for embellished, structured, aged, and high-value pieces. Vintage garments receive additional inspection for dye stability and fibre condition.
- Leather, suede, and household items. Specialist care for leather garments, accessories, curtains, and home textiles.
