At BLANC, we are big fans of the podcast concept: the early morning commutes suddenly become bearable and, with the right voices in your headphones, even something to look forward to!

It’s not hard to guess that most of the podcasts circulating in the BLANC office focus on ethical and conscious living. And because the podcasting ecosystem is only getting bigger, it can be quite difficult to find the one that suits you. That’s why we wanted to introduce you to our top 10 best conscious podcasts: we hope they will inspire you to minimalism, ethical fashion, wellness and everything in between. We can assure you there is something for everyone - just pick and press play!

1. Talking Tastebuds by Venetia Falconer

When it comes to Venetia Falconer, we are all ears! Not only does her social media platforms inspiring us to live more sustainably, but her podcast does too. Every week, she brings a new inspiring guest in for a chat, essentially about their life with food. Though, depending on the guest, the conversation always goes on a bit of a tangent to cover topics like wellness, climate activism or sustainable living. Listeners can enjoy refreshing, diverse discussions with guests like sustainable fashion queen Livia Firth, “The Breath Guy” Richie Bostock and the plant-based football player Chris Smalling.

Their podcast holds a wide selection of episodes on innovation, passion and sustainability within the industry. Outrage and optimism - sometimes we need a little bit of both, at least when it comes to the ongoing climate crisis. Hosted by former UN Chief Christiana Figueres, co-founder of Global Optimism Tom Rivett-Carnac and climate change expert Paul Dickinson, this podcast is looking to take the topic of climate change to the next level. The weekly episodes are exploring some of the most puzzling questions of our time and their impressive guests are all at the forefront of changing the world, including Sir David Attenborough, Greta Thunberg and Richard Branson.

6. Wardrobe Crisis with Clare Press

Another fashion-focused podcast is about to add into the queue of your audio playlist, but with a twist: this one is all about the sustainable side of things! Join Vogue’s Sustainability Editor Clare Press and other visionaries in the space as they discuss the problems of the current fashion system (and solutions!). We love Clare for her thoughtful approach to spreading the word about sustainable fashion as well as her way of informing us about the negative side effects of fast fashion. Guests include Dame Ellen MacArthur as well as Orsola De Castro and Nina Marenzi

7. REV On Air - Sustainable Stories

Beginning of October, Rêve En Vert launched their very own podcast: REV on Air, hosted by Cora Hilts, co-founder of Rêve En Vert. The podcast addresses key questions around sustainable fashion, natural beauty, wellness, organic food, politics, and conservation and discusses how we can all be living more consciously within these realms. It’s a forum for honest dialogue with designers, business owners, environmentalists, who are progressively breaking down conventions, pushing boundaries and inspiring a new breed of thinking and being that is in harmony with the natural world.

According to co-authors Dave and Ol, this is a podcast about the environment, for and by the confused. Ella and Matthew Mills, husband and wife and co-founders of the very successful brand Deliciously Ella, are the hosts of this ultra-inspiring podcast. Plant-based cookbooks, an app, a deli and lots of yummy products weren’t quite enough for the pair and in August 2018, they launched their first episode. Together with weekly guests, they are navigating the realm of health and wellness - from gut health to mental health and how to stay positive in this busy world of ours.
